Many thanks to all those who joined us on March 15, 2024, for the Iftar Mahfeel. Alhamdulillah, we had a wonderful time. Everyone seems to have enjoyed the gathering a great deal. I was happy to see the excitement and enthusiasm of our children who took part in volunteering.
It was a demonstration of the spirit of comradery. Your presence and contribution, along with the participation of Human Concern International and Islamic Relief Canada, humble us. We are pleased that we could raise some money that is still being filtered in. Once we can collect the pledged donations, it will take a few days to know how much we have raised.
A big “Thank You” to all those who have donated spontaneously to the CBMS Orphan Scholarship Program. May Allah SWT accept your intentions. We sincerely appreciate your kind gesture. You are making it possible for us to move forward with our mission. Please accept our heartfelt gratitude for your generous contribution.
Unfortunately, some of you could not attend despite your commitment. Nevertheless, I am pleased to inform you that CBMS will still collect donations until Ramadan ends. This means that you still have an opportunity to donate money for zakah and/or sadaqah. You may wish to e-transfer your donation to: cbms.ottawa.info@gmail.com
As I said, CBMS will provide you with a tax receipt on time for income tax purposes.
