Canada Bangladesh Muslim Society (CBMS) is pleased to inform you all that on 14 August 2024, a cheque for $2,000 was given to Mandy Arsenault, Community Engagement Officer, Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO). Mustafa Chowdhury, President of CBMS, Sanjeda Ahmed, General Secretary, and Alomgir Hossain, Treasurer, presented the cheque. As per CBMS’ policy, CBMS remains committed to donating a portion of the funds it shall raise yearly to CHEO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CHEO profusely thanked CBMS for the donation and observed that every dollar donated goes towards improving the care of CHEO, the CHEO Research Institute, and Roger Neilson House. Having thanked CBMS, Ms  Arsenault wrote:  “Once again, we send along our sincerest appreciation for this most incredible gift. It was lovely to meet you all, and I look forward to seeing you all again next year. Do not hesitate to reach out should you have any questions or need support with future fundraising efforts.”   A few photos of the event are attached.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CBMS takes this opportunity to thank all those who donated early this year during its Ramadan fundraising activities in Bangladesh and Canada. Those who have not had a chance to contribute and wish to donate now, please do so, as CBMS collects money all year round.
