Welcome to Canada Bangladesh Muslim Society! We are dedicated to serving the Muslim community in Canada and promoting cultural understanding and awareness. Our organization provides various services and support for the community, including educational programs, social events, and advocacy initiatives. We strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all members and to foster a sense of belonging and unity. CBMS was established in the summer of 1994<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CBMS is a registered non-profit charity. Charitable Registration No. <\/strong>736225897 RR 0001<\/a> . <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Canada Bangladesh Muslim Society, we believe in the power of unity and the potential for positive change within our community. We are committed to empowering individuals to embrace their identity, contribute to society, and make a difference in the world.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

GOALS<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

All provisions of this bylaw shall be in force until such time an amendment to any term is agreed upon by consensus of the members and implemented, as prescribed in the \u201cAmendments\u201d section. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of this bylaw shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions of this bylaw. In the interpretation of this document, words in the singular include the plural and vice-versa, words in one gender include all genders, and “person” includes an individual, body corporate, partnership, trust and unincorporated organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

OBJECTIVES<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The purpose of the organization is exclusively charitable. The organization shall expend its income and resources for the purpose of furthering, promoting, sponsoring and\/or implementing activities and programs for the following charitable causes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • To advance education by providing publicly available scholarships, bursaries, and other forms of financial assistance to orphan students to be used for secondary and post secondary education.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • To relieve poverty in remote areas of Bangladesh by providing individuals and families in need with access to clean drinking water.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • To undertake activities ancillary and incidental to the attainment of the aforementioned charitable purposes.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    The objective of the Organization is to raise funds for furthering its stated purpose. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
